Hi:
No it is not useless. The brakets can be fabricated with no problem. The brakets can also be purchesed from all the performance suspension places, for example, hellwig and hotchkis. I could not take them off unless I cut them off my rear end, and I was not going to do that to a brand new truck. I took the swaybar off about a week after I bought truck.
