This is my stand coming from an unbiased Ford Mustang GT driver.

I've seen BOTH an SS and a R/T many times.

SS= classy interior......and thats about it.

Ugly body, overpriced, slow, no standard option.

R/T= Nice truck, decent priced, quick w/ a good driver, and can be made plain FAST w/ relative ease.

This is a very unbiased opinion from an outsider who likes nice vehicles in general.

His best pass of a 10.7

Now, I have seen bone a stock 4.7L 4X4 Dakota run a 10.3.

So, what does that tell you? :-D

The SS is crap. Too heavy to be a fast truck. Chevy thought that it was going to be bad like keeping up with the lightning bad when they had the concept. My neighbor got one he thought that it was bad that is until I ripped him a new one if you know what I mean. Then he went out and bought him a cobra. I guess that he wants to always be faster than me. I'm about to have a little surprise for him.

I think that 10.7 was in the 8th mile not quarter.

Hammers??? What do you have done to your truck? Not sure if your current unbeaten streak against chevy's would live if you ever met me or any other decent first gen V8 S-10. I am pretty sure with the 405 hp 440ft tq I have, traction bars, posi,28x11.5 hoosier quick time dot's and 2500 stall you'd be left at the line.

Its pure bs. you would need huge twin turbos and intercoolers and alot of nitrous to do that in a civic.plus the cost of getting the best engine parts made to handle the boost and or nitrous.
