Message: Of course there's no room for gauges with that attitude :) I guess the mark III console would be the easy way if I had access to one. But I guess i'll have tom come up with something on my own. Thanks anyway.

Message: There used to be a Mark III place right off I-75 just a couple miles from Ocala, Florida. It closed about a year or so ago...not sure if that was the factory or just a distributor.

Message: I have a 94 ext cab 5.2 auto Mark III, I love this truck it drives like a car. I just put a new ox sensor and adjusted the throttle plate and that made my idle problems go away.
You should replace every tune up part before you jump to conclusions, mine still has a slight miss. but runs awsome much faster than my old police car. and i get 19.5 on the higway, 17 city..
the rear window motor looks like a regular door motor mounted to the slide unit. mine needed grease in the floor mounted part to make it work better. by the way the company still makes them for sale.

Message: I am thinking about buying a '96 Dodge Dakota Mark III version from someone, and I am just curious to know if it would be a good buy. I'm going to trade him my vehicle which is up for $2500. Anyone think that would be a good deal?
Are they good trucks? Is it easy to find parts for it and to repair?
