GOT MY 4.7L DAKOTA QUAD CAB PULLING MY BOAT UP THE F-ING HILL AND ALL I HEAR IS PING CLANG SHIPTY BANG WRENCH IN MY MOTOR NOISE. WHAT THE F DO I DO FOR THAT.

try to run a better fuel and whatever you do dont take it to the dealer for spark knock. there is a flash available for it and it will lose some power when it gets done. DONT DO IT!!

What year is your truck? NO doubt, being the physic I am, and from your post, that you also have an automatic transmission, right?
And being the physic that I am, I think your wife is pregnant, no slamming here, it's yours, I'm NOT Dissing you.
How much do you know about a motor, this motor (the 4.7), and the conditions which will cause predetonation(pinging)? Happening very much, it's not good for the motor.
My 4.7 doesn't ever ping, even pulling my boat, and on regular gas. Doesn't mean yours doesn't however.
Make sure the gas isn't bad, (a lower than rated octane), try a higher octane gas,
And definitely, don't get the dealers 'death flash', as previously indicated.

When I owned my 4.7 I only made the mistake of putting cheapo gas in it once. I really thought that there should not be a difference between name brand gas and the cheapo sh1t. Well I have always used exxon or texaco because I have cards for them. One day I tried the no name corner mart gas and all I got was ping ping ping ping and the gas milage sucked arse. Anyway try better gas next time just my 2 cents.
