Has anyone had any problems with this intake cracking? While changing my oil today I was loking over the engine bay and noticed that the intake had cracked where it attaches to the throttle body. Could it be from extreme heat? Anyway if this has happened to anyone is there an easy fix or do I need to get it replaced. The crack is about a 1/4" wide and extends from underneth the hat to about half way up to the bolt on top.

K&N had problems with some of the earlier intake kits cracking and was replacing them at one time. You might contact them to see if your covered.

I had the same problem. I used some JB weld stuff for plastic and high temps. It seemed to work. If you can get it replaced go for it.
