Subject: High Flow cats?

Ok guys this might be another one of my dumb questions, but what is the difference between a 2 or 3 way cat? And which one is on the 97 5.2 dakota, I want to buy a high flow cat and I don't know which on I need? Also, feel free to recommend some great high flow cats, and tell me about any increased sound or performance from them. O yeah one more question what size is the stock exhaust on the 97 5.2, before the cat, between the cat and muffler, and after the muffler? What size pipes should I run on each section of the system, with a single in dual out flowmaster, and a high flow cat? Thanks again!

very good questions, i have a reg cab 97 5.2L v8 5spd with 65k miles. i too have to get a hi flo cat to compliment my new spintech side exhaust which isnt on yet. oh yea, if anybody thinks taking the cat off and running a straight pipe to a catback exhaust is better, just explain why. thanks in advance
