 Subject: gauges on and off

I was driving my 99 r/t today and the abs,air bag,check engine, and all other lights came on. Also the gauges went to zero and the tach and speedo quit working. this lasted about 30 seconds and everything went back to normal. Does anyone know what could cause this. thanks for any info

I had the same thing happen with my 95 Dak. My guess is you have a bad ground somewhere in your dash circuit. I would fix mine by pounding on the top of the dash once and the problem would go away for a long time. It always happened when I was away from home & not in a position to trace the problem, so out of frustration one day I hit the top of the dash, and it went away. It would often go away on its ow, very frustrating.
