When i get my 4.7 liter Dakota, i plan on putting exhaust on it. I've been looking at different brands of exhaust such as Magnaflow, Flowmaster and MBRP. But my question is....is MBRP exhaust any good, meaning horsepower wise and sound wise? Just need some help on the topic. Thanks

I've got a super single on my truck. I didn't dyno just the exhaust, but I can tell you that the butt dyno said that just putting the exhaust on was a major improvement. Of course, I waited so long to do any exhaust work because of not wanting a flowmaster (too loud in the cab for my taste) and not being able to find anyone else that had a system I could readily get my hands on, that I had everything but the exhaust done to my truck when I finally got it done. I may be the only person on the face of the earth that can honestly claim 20 hp from an exhaust mod. As for sound, its got a low note to it that you can hear in the cab when you get on it, but otherwise inside it sounds a lot like the stock exhaust if you have the windows up. With the windows down you can hear it a little more. Standing outside as the truck takes off, I'm told it sounds wicked.

Sound is very good. The muffler is a flow through design and is entire hand-made with 304SS by a bunch of Ski-Doo guys in Canada -- what more could ya want!
