Hey guys. I've thought about trading my 99 Dakota Sport for a 98 or 99 regular cab Dakota R/T. Anyone know about how much an R/T of this year would cost?

I've seen 99 reg. cab r/t's in the 13,000 to 15,000 range.

what part of the country are you in/looking in??
r/t's seem to be found cheapest in texas, specifically dallas.
i got my 99 rc r/t, with 32k miles, the sticker price was 12,500... i dont remember how much i talked them down to, but it came out pretty cheap...

Well, I'm a pretty good distance from Texas. I live in North Carolina. I'd like to find a '99 with low miles for around 12,500. I've not seen many R/T's around here, so it might be hard to find one. I'll keep looking though.

What's low miles? I've got one I'll let go for 12,500. It's a Black 99 R/T RC with 40,000 miles. M1, k&n, dual exhaust. Even still smells new. Near greenville NC!

Well, 40,000 miles is what I consider lower miles, but if I get an R/T, I will have to trade my current Dakota. I'll probably have to find one at a dealer in order to do that though.

Just go to www.kbb.com put in your zip and it goes by your area. Normally it's pretty close to what a dealer would ask. I got my 99 R/T with about 42k on it for close to 12k
