According to Chilton's, that should be 8.4:1

Advertised is 8.2 - it's actually around 6.8-7.0 .

The 360 in my '86 Ram has a '77 block and the stock pistons were about .200" in the hole at TDC and they're dished too.

Get a set of Keith Black 107's if you don't plan on running nitrous or a blower - it will give you about 9.6-9.8 with stock 360 heads and Fel Pro gaskets.

If you mill the heads, don't forget to mill your intake manifold to match.
