Message: I have a 97 318 5spd, Current mods are 2.02 heads, 1.6 roller rockers, headers, 3 inch exhaust, ported TB, M1, R/T cam soon to be KRC 210X, MP computer. Current best time is a 14.8 at 95 which I think is a bit slow for this combo. I cant wait to try the new cam out once I get it.

(oh yea, this board has too many haters)

Message: You're right Pete. I WOULD be amazed if slicks and 45° evening temp lowered your times by TWO SECONDS.
I'll tell you what I think, Pete. I think that YOU are the one that has the "4 banger", are about 17 years old, and have NEVER made a trip to the dragstrip in your life. If you have, you would know that you are so FULL OF ЅHIT when you claim 12 seconds. Like I said, next time you decide to lie about times, make it halfway believable.

Message: I have a '98 reg cab short bed 5 spd. Self-ported tb, advanced timing, hypertech power programmer, 3" flowmaster exhaust with no cat, IAT adjust, homebrew intake, TPS at .72 volts, vaccuum mod. No spare or tail gate with street tires. No headers/cam/rockers /headwork. Ran a 14.85 1/4 with a 2.1 sec 60 foot time in the alabama heat the other day. A 12 second dakota on straight motor is possible with the right heads cam gears, etc... I pulled out in front of an s 10 the other day - I won, he had to get towed. I think I will get my handles and gas lid shaved while it's getting sprayed and put a fuel cell in the bed. I will probably keep the stock tank for now so I can keep the stock pump. Anyone know if the stock pump can be used in an aftermarket cell ?

Never made it back after more mods. Today I saw a Hemi Ram (QC 4WD) run a 16.25 compared to a Mercedes ~16.7. Was kinda impressed.

Message: www.dragtruck.com You want drag times, here you go. I will admit, some of the entries are Bulls**t, but a majority of them are accurate. Compare the 1/4 and 1/8 mile times. Peter Boyle- a 12.7 1/4mile with low 8's 1/8mile is very accurate so either he is telling the truth or knows the correct times. High 12's on all motor is easy with the right kind of $$. Obviously the "stock 225hp dak beating a scumaro SS w/ a 13.4" is a fake and bullsh**t post, but a reg. cab dak V8 with the right mods can easily be 13's on all motor and yes, all that sh*t removed will definately lose weight. It all adds up. Please, people, do some research before posting and it doesnt do any good to copy a name and write a childish remark. Brad P. '88 Dakota soon to be smallblock sleeper!
