I have a 1997 5.2 Automatic Dak. I come to a full stop, when I take off it starts in second gear. Everything shifts fine no hard clunks or slips. If i come to a full stop and shift into first, put it into drive than it'll take off like normal.....Next full stop second gear start....
has 86,000 miles full service tranny fluid replaced at 80,000 by Aamco transmissions. Any suggestions from this expert panel appreciated.

the governor pressure sensor is located on the right side of the valve body inside the pan. once you pull the pan off, its self explanatory on how to get it out.
