hey iowaboy thanks for the advice on the truck man but today i thought about the truck and forgot to mention that sometimes when i start the truck up it runs weird not real bad just when u start it up the motor will have a weird idol to it it doesnt make noise it just runs kinda shakeier than it should but today i had no problem with the truck no shaking the truck ran smooth it does it off and on but i had the fuel pump replaced 1 year ago and a month back had to replace the spark plug wires but the shaking part my uncle thinks one cylinder may robbing another cylinders fire i fustrated cause we thought it may have been spark plug wire cause it was shorten out but it wasnt but when the shakin starts the check engine light comes on u think it could be the brain cause i ahd a local mechanic put a new brain in it i dont but later

mine had the problem of not wanting to accelerate then slowing down to a stop and dieing...
start it up and it would rin fine for a little while then do the same thing...

if you have that problem only it is the ox sensor..

there only 48 dollars and they are only supposed to last 75k miles mine had 178k.

My 92 Dakota 3.9 Runs good then it will pop and back fire then stop. I hold the gas peddle to the floor for a min. Then it will start up and run fine. But it is getting worse.
