Subject: Extended warranty?
IP: Logged

Message:
Does anyone have experience with 1Source or Warranty Direct's extended warranties? I've read good things about them and they are much cheaper than the one offered by DC. Consumer Report's reliability rating for the Dakota has me a little concerned. Is an extended warranty worth it (~$1200 bumper-to-bumper $0 dectuctable)? Do the warranty companies really follow through? I do not have the interest, knowledge, or time to do much more than simple maintenance.

Well it depends on how old your dak is. Pretty much your warrantee is like buying an insurance policy. Do you want to pay more insurance??? I personally would not do it but hey..... blowing one tranny would make it worth it. And if it comes to the end of your warranty, you could always break sumthing for "FUN"......
