Message: Hey guys,
I bought a 2002 dodge dakota r/t about 3 months ago. I bought it from a chevrolet dealer, as it was a trade in. The truck is solid black and has practically every available option. I noticed a couple of days ago when it snowed here in VA, that it DOES NOT have anti lock brakes. That was a complete shock, considering it is the 5.9 r/t package. Furthermore, I looked closely, and it doesnt even have disc brake! ALl four brakes are drum. What's up with this? Please let me know.
Thanks,
Daniel

Daniel,
So, do you actually have front drums?
I didn't think any daks came with front drums. Maybe the earliest years?

Message: Ahem...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but all passenger cars in the US have come with disc brakes in the front since the early 70's...Am I way off here?
