Message: Baldwin B2 HPG is almost identical to Amsoil SDF series. They might actualy be the same. I buy B2 HPG from my local baldwin distributor for $6 a filter. The B2HPG blows the KN out of the water!!! The only real claim to fame for the KN oil filter is the one inch nut wich is common to aircraft filters and the heavy can to help protect against rupture. K&N does not make their own filter it is made buy Champion labs. If bang for the buck is a goal the MotorCraft Fl1A uses a puralator pureone element inside of the pure plus can and can be had for $2.75 at Walmart! The B2HPG is my choice hands down. It is better then mobil1 and K&N and only cost $6!!!!!
