Subject: O2 sims/ how to get around the sensor? IP: Logged
Message: Hello, can someone tell me how to do the rigging to the o2 sensor on a 97 5.2 dakota?(resistor wired into the o2 sensor's wires?) Possibly send me pics or where to buy the 02 simulators?

Message: search under my name I have some detailed instructions posted. its simple you just splice a 650-680k resistor inline with the signal wire and a 1mfg capacitor across the reference and signal wire.

Message: thats basically a catbox and more complex then my method. the problem is were did you get that info from meaning. I use a modified mustang design. on my old ford I used a 1megaohm resistor and it worked fine. Ive tried that on my dak and kept getting checkengine lights because the pcm thought the cat was eorking to good. I tried a bunch of different resistor values and so far the 650k is the best I've found.
