It’s so obvious that the guy is lonely and looking for acceptance. Come on guys, let’s not flame this poor fella. For he knows not what he drives. He is compelled to rant and rave about this “event” on our boards. We should all learn from this experience with this strange creature…this ….how do you say …. “Ford driver.” Personally, I thought they were extinct or a myth. But once again, I stand corrected. Bottom line is a 4.7 qc dak is a 15 sec truck and a 4.6 f150 is not. I would doubt a 5.4 f150 is as fast as a v8 dak. Your freind definatley got a bad jump.

Hey, I just got an epiphany. Why doesn’t Ryan post the F-150 forum that he uses? That way we can post all of the races we have with the F-150. I mean, it’s only fair. He shares his knowledge with us, why can’t we share our knowledge with his buddies? Cause I have a lovely story of how I dusted an ’02 F-150 with that 5.4L. And I’ve got the 4.7L. I would just love to share that.

I raced a guy once who had a F-150 cc 4.6l with my RC 2.5 dak, niether had any mods. Of course he beat me, but i kepwt within 2 car lengths, and he used a power brake to get a faster start. SO no f*cking way could a 4.6l f-150 beat a 4.7 dak, in any situation.

My neighbor across the street has a F150 4.6L work truck from his job. He wanted me to check out his cruise control because it wasn't working, his company didn't care to fix it. Anyway we took it for a spin, needless to say he tried power breaking it so it could a burn out, well it just sat there groaning and sounding like it was about to break. Mind you this is a open diff rear end too with stock tires! It was a dog!

Kevin, what kind of numbers does your ferd put down? I'll have a procharger on my 5.9 this summer. There's only one R/T that I know of running a procharger, and I know you don't want to mess with him, run's 11.4's :)

You got to be kidding! A F150 with the 4.6L with no NOS or Blown going to beat me! You've been smoking too much crack! I can pull 13.9 to 14.2 all day long N/A. Unless you've gutted the interior and removed every outer panel to reduce weight, that F150 needs a 5.4L with a supercharger to hit 13's low 14's for starters.

Kevin, you're right, I can't do that, at least not right now, I posted my current time. But when I'm done I'll be able to hang with or beat a Z06 or Cobra, and for a hell of a lot less than either of those cars cost. And I told you, the only R/T that I know of that has a Procharger runs 11.4's, and I know a stock Z06 or Cobra can't keep up with that. What does your car run at the track? Timeslips? Let's see 'em.
