Subject: 4x4 indicator not working IP: Logged
Message: the light for my 4x4 indicator doesn't seem to be working at all, 4x4 works fine, just no light, noticed this after i got my new transfer case. Could the bulb be burned out or did they just forget to plug it back in. BTW, it's a 93 V8

Message: it could be the bulb or it could be the sensor on the front axle. on the passenger side of the front ale is a vaccum actuator with acts like a set of hubs. It dissengages the front axle when your in 2wheel drive. it has a sensor on with turns on the light. this might be unpluged or just faulty. hope this helps

Message: I have the same problem...the sensor is known to go bad in the daks....I just haven't got around to putting a new one in...not high on my priority list...the part only costs I think 30 bucks or so and from what I am told it just screws in...we'll see!
