Right now I have a 1999 dakota with a 318. I have a 3inchbody lift with 32inch bfg's. I have dual flowmaster and a intake. I only get an average of 9.8 mpg. Have an ideas of what I can do about this. Gas is going up and it is eating me alive.

Sell it. I'm in the same boat you are, only i have 3" body and 4" susp, with 33" Super Swampers. I get about 12-13 though. I have a 5-speed which helps a ton, and a tonneau cover also helps with your aero dynamics a lot, which is often overlooked. Another mod you could do (and I want to do) is to get an electric fan, because the belt-driven fan sucks up the gas about 1-2 mpg from what I hear. But your best bet is just lay off the accelerator and not rev up your duals, as tempting as it is. Shift relatively low and never put the pedal to the floor. If that's a problem for you (as it was for me till I realized I was only getting about 9 mpg that way), you can always slow yourself down with a wood block behind the accelerator. Even with all that, you'll still probably get 15 as an absolute max. I've come to the conclusion that the only way to save money on gas and keep our beloved dakota is to buy an oil company and get free gas.
