Gotta luv black when it's all buffed out, nice truck! Good too see more females with an interest in modding trucks(especially V8 Daks:) instead of driving a stock SUV:)
If it was my Dak, and my credit card was paid off:)I would get some inserts for the grille and bumper valance to break up the black on the front-end, clear corners(I know, everyone has got'em, but they really clean up the front-end), roll pan, hard cover for bed(like your gramps, get ridda the stickers and lastly custom wheels after lowering it some since you live where snow is not an issue lol. Performance mods are dependent upon your need for speed. But that's just my opinion.

Hey.... well the reason i dont have any pics of me is because its not a website about me :o) its about my baby.... but i have taken a couple with the truck and myself... maybe i will put those on there.....
The Intake system i found in the Truckin magazine. its Airmax with a K&N filter... its cool cause it has a coil effect in the tube instead of just a direct shot of cold air!
I will be getting the TB spacer soon, they are only $100! the Intake system was close to $300 but it was well worth it, cause its awesome, and pretty cool lookin ( i like the punch of red)
The exhaust tips... im not quite sure, i just picked the ones i wanted and they put them on for me :o)
I put my clear corner lights on already, but havent gotten any pics up yet. What do u think about the bulbs... i just cant decide, i really like the look of clear bulbs in them, but i have amber there now cause i really dont want to get pulled over... what should i do??
I am going to be ordering my bedcover within the next week.... snugtop... :o) i can't wait! i would have gotten the checkmate flush cover, but i have spray in liner and it would have looked weird because it is sprayed also on the lip of the bed... and the grille that i want is the street scene, but i havent decided between that and the billet....anyways if anyone wants to talk more, and i could talk forever about trucks, just email me or let me know u wanna talk!!

Dang you are really going to town on that truck. Fot the bulbs you can get orange ones. I always ask for a 3157 bulb that is orange. The cover will make it look real slick.

I have the amber 3157 (orange) blubs in there now... but i really want to put just the clear...
What grille do u like better, the street scene or the billet, or should i just leave it alone?? I should get foglights, and fendor flares... she needs those bad!!

Go with the clear bulbs, I've never had any problems w/ the law, and they are pretty picky around here.
As far as the grills, if your gonna go with any more chrome on your truck I'd go w/ the Street Scene chrome inserts.
I also have a black CC, but it's a 4X4. I have the SS aluminum inserts from my R/T I sold, I wish I could trade them for the chromies.

As for the grille, id go with the Street Scene Chrome inserts. Black and Chrome look nice!!

Cops around here aren't very nice, but im thinkin that if i do get pulled over for it, i can :batt my baby blues: and get away with it... you know act like a dumb blonde who doesnt know anything about trucks or the law :o) he wouldnt know the difference....
I use the quick detail wax... wipe on wipe off :o) i like it a lot..
see i like the chrome insert too, but you know the sports dont have any chrome on them, wouldnt it look funny with just that little bit of chrome??
And this friday im ordering my bed cover WOO HOO I cant wait!! its going to be a dent in the pocket though!!!
I have to wait for them to special order it though cause im getting carpet

dont get fender flares, when i bought my truck i wanted them, but now i'm glad that it doesn't have them. i like the way it looks with the tires even with the body. i have a red sport, and i was thinking about getting inserts too, but i'm not sure how it will look with that little chrome either.

nice truck...(I have the same, but lower) keep
it clean, black is a pain, I'm still washing and
waxing once a week. quick detailer is nice, but
the maguiers liquid wax is excellent. It takes a
little more work, but lasts a lot longer than the
quick detailer stuff.

Kotagrl, well the way i see it is, is that ur truck is black. And the sport bumpers come black, so basically u have an all black truck.. lol.. (as if u didnt know), but what im getting at is that it looks like its all one color, so in my opinion the chrome wont clash with anything.
On the other hand, u could do what im doing with my Intense Blue sport. I wanna keep it a secret, only a few know. I dont wanna say it up here b/c i wanna get it done first, but If u wanna know, IM me or email me and i just might let u in on it.
I also use that Quick Detailer by Meguiars. I only use it in-between waxing though. Speaking of waxing, my truck is COVERED in mud... hehe... i need to wash it!!

I have a 99 SLT it came in deep amythest (Dark Purple). I painted the gray on the front bumper and the rear bumper to match the truck and i left the chrome the way it is. I am getting my chrome speed grile inserts in a few weeks. Oh yeah i also added silver flames (painted not stickers, and drwan by hand not a template). I just got my digital camera back so i will post a pic tomorrow.
