Message: Duane, I did this same swap on my 93. You will obviously need a 318 mag, along with a V-8 PCM & oil pan, fuel rail, fuel regulator and regulator retainer. Your engine wiring harness will need 2 injector driver wires added for #7 & 8 cylinders in pins 17 (cyl 7) & 18 (cyl 8) or an easier solution would be to get a V-8 engine harness. The trans will bolt up perfectly (both auto & manual) to the V-8. All of your brackets and accesories on the front of the motor will also work. I know the 4x4 motor mounts are the same for the V-6 and V-8, not sure for the 2wd. The exhaust will also bolt up perfectly using pre-94 manifolds. The 94-up manifolds are smaller at the flange connection. You can use some chevy donut gaskets to make them work (what I done on mine). Last but not least, the fan shroud will require some trimming to fit also. This swap is pretty easy to do, and definately worth doing. It took me and a buddy less than 5 hours to do mine start to finish. Hope this helps.
