Subject: Roller Rockers and Turtles IP: Logged
Message: I am getting ready for the strips to open and am putting the last finishing touches on my 2001 R/T. I am getting ready to bye some roller rockers and was wanting a little help. What are the best and what do you all need. I have heard that the Cower Rockers are the best, is that true. Does anyone know what how much they are? I was also wondering if you need to buy anything else when you get them, like a differn't size push rods or any thing.
One last thing. I am wanting to buy an extra large turtle like everyone has been talking about. Just wondering where i could get one and how much also. Thanks for all the help.

Message: I chose the Harland Sharp non-adjustable aluminum 1.7 roller rockers. Super easy install, much much more easier than Crower. $298 shipped to my door from SouthEastRT.com, they were specifically designed with our trucks in mind.

Message: I would watchout for the Harland Sharp ones... if you are using a stock cam they are fine, but if you change the cam you have to get a kit that will make them adjustable... honestly the crower stainless 1.7 are worth the price... you can get some aluminum ones from comp cams that have a more reasonable price... no offense to John M. on his rocker design.

Message:
If you have or are removing your rev limiter you might want to look into the High Rev kit (longer push rods & guide plates)
CROWER INFO
as Frankie posted Sam at SoCA usually has the best prices and is great if you have any questions.
