Had to do my brakes today and they were F*!?ed up bad. I didn't have any indication that they were about to go until the other day, so I took off the tire to inspect and there it was two bad rotors, and no pad left on the insides. I thought I was doing a thorough inspection every 6000 miles when I rotate the tires but I guess I was not looking at the inside pads good enough.
The new ceramic pads are not cheap but so far the feel great stopping on them.
