Subject: Heater Core Flush Pics?
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a 93 dakota with the 318 and a heater problem. I've flushed the radiator and switched thermostats, it's blowin lots of air into the cab, just none of it is very warm. Was wondering if anyone has pics of flushing the heater core with a garden hose on a Gen II Dakota. Wasn't brought up very mechanically inclined so i need pictures to understand what the heck i'm doin under there. Either post them in this thread or shoot me an email at rambo357@hotmail.com

Thanks

You can pick up a Haynes manual at an auto parts store. There a couple pictures in there. Carefull with the two drain points on the engine block, they may be rusted on there good and you may need to put an inpact tool on it. You can do it without draining from the bottom but I recommend you do to get all the old crap out of your engine.
