I never see any info on the option Multi Speed transmission. I have one in my 02 4.7 4x4 sport. Not sure I like it or not. Seems to down shift a lot. I didn't even know I was gonna get it till I seen it on my options list. Seems to pull my camper ok. No, I don't use overdrive when pulling it. Any pros or cons on this transmission?

I know of about 10 people including my self with dakotas and rams that have had to rebuild their automatic trannies... they suck... if you put any power behind them at all the ears will tear off the second gear band. they are crap... if you have them rebuilt by a good shop with quality bands and clutches, along with upgrading some internals they can be very good. I recomend anyone with an auto to talk to Wayne at www.apsprecision.com
