 Subject: V8 Magnum Emblems

I noticed on my new 02 QC DAK (V8 4.7L), that there arent any V8 Magnum emblems on the front quarter panel. I thought I saw these on other trucks, and just wondering if this is something they did away with in 02...or if Dodge just forgot to put em on.

my 2001 doesnt have them (im glad, cause
their ugly) Plus its kinda sleeper style, when a
V6 dak pulls up next to you revin, and then you

I thought they aren't on the 4.7's because the 4.7's aren't Magnum engines.

I also tried to remove the damn airbag stickers on the visors...those sneaky bastards stuck another sticker underneath it...damn!

The 4.7 IS a Magnum...or at leas according to a cover on the engine. I thought the V8 wqas considered a magnum..whether 4.7 or 5.9....

Zute Chrysler stopped putting on the emblems,under hood pad and under hood light to save money.We are starting to make small changes on the new Jeep Liberty to save money.
The new 02 Grand Cherokee that I got has the 4x4 under the Jeep emblem on the tail gate to save money,they have always been on the quarter panels,but I put them back on the quarters.

I switched my magnum emblems for toyota tundra v8 emblems. The new crome emblems look really clean. It looks even better if you have a billet grille to match.

i bought grand cherokee overland "4.7 LITER HO"emblems one for the tailgate two for the doors to go under the vintage R/T emblems from an old challenger R/T i owned.

I know they made them till at least '99....maybe till 2000 like the other emblems...
i dunno....even when i had my V6 emblems on people would be like "which V8 do you have?". i think it would be pretty cool to have "Magnum" emblems on.....that little S10 will pull up next to me and think "gonna take down a four banger!"
no grassman, i am not trying to start anything like sic did....

What pisses me off is that Chrysler is putting MAGNUM badging on all the cars. Me personally the MAGNUM is a DODGE only engine Chrysler had the TNT and Plymouth had Commando GOD REST ITS SOUL.

I don't like the emblems...My catback exhaust and 3.5in. stainless steel tailpipes sticking out the back, That deep rumble is all they need to hear to know what I got.
