Message: You can probably use a 6-71 blower, but they are inefficient, you'll have to cut a hole in the hood, and you'll have to have a custom intake manifold fabricated.
I'd stick with an "off to the side" supercharger.
I'd probably also do a little more reading and research before I got that "off to the side" model installed. That way the guys at the "off to the side" dealer won't laugh.

I remember when Ron (Jenkins) was first building up his old '72 Charger...cruising it on El Camino Real (Santa Clara, CA) on Friday and Saturday nights.

Message: Oh yeah.... Bernd's post brings up another point. You'll prolly need a few of those "off to the side" paychecks to fund a 6-71 blown Dakota project as well.

Message: If you're going to install a Supercharger in a vehicle, it usually helps to know what engine is involved. That's usually more important than the vehicle model.

Message: You dont have to have an "off to the side" blower! The Kenne bell mounts on top in place of your intake manifold. Thay say it looks stock, but if you know anything about engines at all, it looks far from stock! I'm guessing you dont know a whole bunch about them, or you would have said centrifugal, not "off to the side". If you have tons of money, you could always drop in a 440 and add an 8-71, that would be even more fun.
