 Subject: straight pipes

i have a 318 and was wondering how loud it would be with straight pipes??? i want to keep the stock exhaust manifolds and run magnaflow high flow cats and then pipes with no mufflers out the back. also will this give the popping when i have been driving and let off the gas???
also is there anyway i will burn my exhaust valves by doing this???

it should sound good i dont know if it will have the popping get a glasspack and it should i have cat back duals with a single glasspack and no cat and it pops alot when you let off the gas. i recently put headers on it too so now it really sounds good

I have an 02 CC Dak 4.7 5-speed, And I just took a Dynomax muffler off mine, and put a $10 straight pipe in place of it. Still have the Cats, but it's pretty loud even with them.
