Message: it depends on the year.on my 95 i just took an air cutter and took about 15 minutes to get it all cut off and then i bought an 18" pipe from autozone and a couple clamps.it makes it alot louder and deeper and more aggressive sounding and i thought it seemd to mak eit faster but it did hurt the torque maybe a little bit but i dont ever regret it

Message: i have a 2k1 rt and i was wondering how bad is it for your truck to remove the cat. or is it even bad.. also how bad of back firing will it have with the cat removed. thanks

Message: i have have a 97 3.9V6 my cat is gutted and it ran better but the check engine light comes on and u have to reset the comuter there is a thing u can get from summit that will replace the o2 sensor but its not necessary
