Message: Hi
I got a 91 dakota with a 318 tbi with 336000km and is starting to die and I got a chance to pick up a 93 magnum 318 with only 100,000km for $300 complete. I was wondering how I can put it in the premagnum dakota? If I change the dash and engine wiring harness as will has the computer all of it should just plug in right? Or will I be better off finding an older 318 and put the tbi system on it?
Thnaks

Message: I am guessing here, but I think the only difference it the wiring on the engine. If you replace the stock wiring and pcm with the wiring and PCM from the magnum V8, it should work fine. So as long as you change the engine harness and PCM it should be fine.
Hope this helps

Message: Check and see if the fuel pump/ gas tank match up. Otherwise I think you're OK if you do the rest. '91 had the same front end and firewall.
