Hey guyz I have an itch for some more HP. I have a 92 CC 4X4 w/ a 318. currently my mods are shorty headers, 3' into a dual outlet 40 series with 4" tips, the MP performance CPU, and a 14 x 3 K&N open breather. Im going to be putting a lift in and 32's on in the spring so some more power would be nice. Im thinking cam, but I dont know which one to get or which company to go with? Im not looking for anything to lumpy, but enough to notice it. Any ideas?

Check out krcperformance.com and also comp cams. I'm not sure about your engine, but I am looking for one for a 360 that will be a daily driver but also a weekend racer. Comp cams 20-608 and KRCs 210 have both been highly recommended to me.

I think all the cams KRC offers are Comp Cams just different part numbers so you can't goto his site and look up the number and then go buy them off Comp's site.

KRC has the three Comp Cams grinds that Comp sells, but he also has a number of other custom grinds that he specs out and Comp makes for him.
KRC has cams for $239 this month.

Contact any of the major cam manufacturers (Crane, Compcams, etc.) by phone, and you can talk to a real person. You tell them what you have and how you are going to use it and they will recommend a cam for you.

thanx for the help guyz....I actually am waiting to hear back from comp right now. on a non related topic I want to build a 408 stroker r/t really really bad in the next few years, I was just wondering if anyone had anything to say about them?
