Is there a drain plug on the radiator on a 2000 r/t? If so, where? If not...?

If not (I'm sure that there's one ... maybe, at bottom on driver's side), you can use one of those hand-held gasoline syphon pumps. Just add a hose that fits inside the supplied 'out' hose so you can wind it down to the bottom of rad. It's such a clean way of draining that I no longer use the drain plug.

On the r/t, I am not positive. On the 2000 4.7, there is a twist plug on the driver's side at the bottom. It is very hard to see but it is there. I would guess that it would be the same on the r/t. I hope that helps.

By the way, on the 4.7, the plug only drains the radiator not the engine.

The drain plug on my '01RT is on the bottom of the drivers side. However, it has a rubber hose that is attached to the radiator both above and below the plug, which makes it really hard to find. Simply unplug the hose from the top fitting and leave the bottom fitting attached. This way you can drain the radiator without getting fluid all over the bottom of the radiator. My plug only turns 180 degrees and needs to be pulled out in order to drain.

Does the drain cock need to be completely removed or just
opened on a 2001 dodge dakota 4.7 liter radiator? Also the
drains on the block I can only find one on the passenger side
at least I think it's a drain is there one on both sides?
