so, you think youre not stock modified this and that R/T will out perform Honda/Acura vehicles? if you say so. Too bad you had to spend all that money on modifications just to run with cars.
I suppose you think you can out run an NSX too.
Why didn't you get a 4.7? then you could have gone fast and still put a load in the bed.

Just keep a K&N sticker on your heavily modded trucks. That way after giving a spanking somebody should ask "is it stock?" reply "no it's got a K&N filter in it".

I was readin an article last month about a G-Force Challange sponsered by BFGoodrich. The compatition was a skidpad, slalom, and a speed course. As I'm reading along, names like RX-7, Supra, Porshe 914, Acura T-R. The result of this comp was supped up RX-7 in first ........AND a 1967 VW BEETLE taking second!!!!
A bug beat a Supra on a skidplate!!! Don't get me wrong, I saw the pics on the bug and it was a mean lookin little SOB. But it did run with a vw block ,slightly modified, and naturally aspuration!
THE POINT OF MY RAMBLING IS.... If you got enough love for a vehicle (and money!), you can make it do whatever you want it to....scratch that... You better make it do whatever you want it to do. Think about how much time we acually spend in our cars on a daily basis. Would you rather enjoy your ride in a car with/without air conditioning? If people enjoy there trucks puttin a beatin on others, thats just self expression and I totally dig that!!
As for me, I'm takeing this SOB of a bug with a Dakota AND I'm painting it pink cause...... well... wouldn't you hate being beatin by a pink truck?

I Would like to bring up a interesting point
I have not heard of a single "Racecar" on this message board.
Not s$%# the dakota isn't a racecar
Neither is a GT Stang, Honda or dam RSX
We Don't buy a Dakota because its the fastest, or the sharpest handling. If we wanted that we would be on Bikes.
I've raced Modified preludes.....and won
I've raced Stanges.............. and won
But guess what, it was for the rush
not for braging rights I know the next day those same cars could kick my ass.
All I want is the right lines, sounds and feel from my ride. I find the right balance in the Dakota.
Hey, how else will I get my bikes to the races
