 Subject: 40 series original VS glasspack

i recently installed a glasspack with duals coming out the back of my dakota with a 318 and was wondering if i replaced the glasspack with a single in dual out 40 series original flowmaster if it would be as loud as is it is now with a glasspack or will it be quieter??? also will the 40 series original sound better than the glasspack??? and will my glasspack get louder and sound better over time???

I had a friend who had a glasspack and changed it over to a flowmaster 40 series. The glasspack was definitely louder but didn't sound as good. The flowmaster gave it a real nice muscular tone, even though a good bit quieter. In my opinion the flowmaster is the way to go. Oh by the way my friends truck was a Chevy C-10 but it is the same principle on any truck.
