i have a set of flowtech headers on my truck that have gotten cracked. the piece that curves up by the brake booster evidently has been rubbing when the motor twists and it has put a big crack around it. has anyone else had this problem? how close is your guys header to touching the brake booster?

i had to put on a different set of headers. i went with the gibson headers. instead of curving up by the booster they curve beside each other, no clearance problems with these.

How much did you pay for the gibsons? I am thinking about getting a set of those flowtech smog legal headers for under $200. Were they any good at all?

I was thinking about going with the JBA stainless headders and then having them Jet Hot coated.

Good set-up...of would there be a better way?

I'm interested in getting the highest flow exhaust possible, and am willing to wait/pay for whatever it takes.

Thanks guys, this board rocks!

After the headders I'm planning on using Car Sound cats, and Spin Tech mufflers.

Flowtech- Junk.... I know this from experience. both on my previous Dart, and some of my friends cars.

Hey, Raymond
I have a 93 5.2 2 wheel drive and that happened to me also I have Headmans on mine,I just replaced the bushings and it raised it about an inch.I think that it might need some kind of a heat shield put on it.I haven't really looked at it anymore.
