I have a problem that the dealer can't even find! My truck that is a 2002 Dak with teh 4.7 v8. It just turns itself off. It doesn't stall..it just turns itself off like when ur turning the key to shut the engine off. And it doesn't matter when! Usually it happens between shifting from reverse to drive..but it happened once at indling..if anyone knows anything..let me know...thanks.

2002 ... good news! You should be under warrenty, unless you've driven across the US a few times.

All I can state is the obvious, sounds like a problem.

Let the dealer worry about it. Insist that he gives you a loaner truck in the meantime (of equel or greater quality) and tell him not to call you until it's fixed correctly.

Every time I've had to deal with a dealer due to a problem (not Dodge, yet to have a problem with my 02 QC), I've been courteous yet agressive with my needs and they've seemed to work with me pretty well.

My last vehicle was a POS SUV and I took it in to get something repaired. They tried giving me some subcompact as a loaner. I gave them a funny look and said, If I wanted to drive a car like this I would have purchased a car like this. Then gave them some crap about I needed a vehicle large enough to fit at least 3 other business associates. Was in an Intrepid (from Entreprise) in no time flat, which was fine for me.

If it's an 02, let them figure it out, sounds like a loose something somewhere.
