Message: as a good rule of thumb use what the factory put in them champion in dodges, autolite in fords and ac delco in gm,ive seen taken brand new autolite plugs in doges out before because the vehicle would not start so always stay with what the factory recommends if there was a better plug i think their highly payed enginners would have found it but you can some times put platnium plugs in place of regular plugs but use the same brand.

Message: I put in NGK platinums in my 4.7 about 6 months ago and noticed a nice little performance difference from the factory plugs. For top of the line plugs it seems the Bosch +4 is the way to go, will get those next time. I agree that this is the only site that everyone is in love with autolite?

Message: I run bosch platinum's with no problems. I have ran these plugs for years in other vehicles with great results. Alot of other people like autolites. The price difference is alot between the two with the platinums being more.
Just mt .02!!

Message: Ditto on the Bosch Platinums. Have used them for 20 years and they seem to work great for me. As far as wires, I use NAPA 8mm with no probs so far.

Message: Zro26t,
you will find the best possible performance in Autolite ignition engineered sparkplugs. They are top quality, reasonably priced, and good performing units.
Step up to your local Autolite dealer and ask for Autolite high quality sparkplugs by name.
From bumper to tailight, you can't go wrong with Autolite!
