Message: Yup, I use the 5224 regular coppers. I tried the 3923 they work ok, but not as well. Do not use Platinum on the coil over plug design, Heat problems...

Message: I have use Bosch platinum +4 and have had no problems for 6 months/8000 miles. After reading A LOT of posts it seems like some people have good luck with them and some don't. Kinda strange.

Message: I have a set of new platinums autolite. I had some before ran them for 30 000 miles with no problems. I wanted to get some new ones but they had to order them so I installed some normal copper autolites till I got the platinums. I left the copper ones in cause i didnt want to bother changing them. No problems with either plugs

Message: Copper is a better conductor than platinum. There is less resistance in a copper plug, so you will get a better spark. Platinum is a harder metal, so it will last longer. The advantages of using platinum's is the longer interval between plug changes. That's why most manufacturers use platinums from the factory to get that true 100K mile maintenance free engine.
