 Subject: Dire need of V8!

I've got a 95 dak 2wd, nice truck, but the miles on my V6 are gettin way up there and i gotta start doin some major repairs pretty soon. So instead of going through all that hassel i wanna get a 5.9, or a 5.2 I don't know what kinda fabrication i'd have to do to get either in there, please someone help me!

Front coil springs, transmission, driveshaft, PCM...you sure you don't want to go through the hassle of rebuilding the V6?
The V6 transmission won't hold up to the 5.2/5.9L and the driveshaft is different as well.

Hey, thanks a lot, now i know a little more of what im getting myself into. I've gotta 727 transmission out of a 67 cornet, im sure that'd work just fine, but would it be anymore of a hassle? as in lineing everything up. Thanks for your help bernd
