I'm not sure if I have posted this before...but my cat needs to be replaced badly...something inside is loose and it rattles like no other when idling...I was wondering if anyone knew of anyplace online that sells cats that would fit a 97 dakota SLT club cab with the 5.2 V8 for a resonably cheap price

same problem i had with my 98 v8 dakota. try jeggs, summit racing or any other mail order warehouse. can even get them from any exhaust shop.

Go to EBAY and go to where you type in the seller and type this name Jehovah-nissi this guy owns a shop in tennessee and sells high flow cats for 48.00 shipped and are brand new. and if you dont want to buy off the internet he has his phone number posted also.

$48 PLUS the shipping, still a great deal. That's on 2 1/2". If you go 3", it's only $5 more. I've bought a bunch from him.

Check your dealer first. Federal law requires an 8 year/70,000 mile be provided by the manufacturer. I just had this done to my 99. Free.
