Message: I'm impressed too. That is one awesome sleeper!! I guess a 440 in a Dak IS possible. Hmm, My dad has a 440 out of a motor home in the garage he's not using any time soon!!
Message: LOL OMG!!!! That is friggin' awesome dude. I am assuming that it will absolutely melt the tires off of it. The only question I have is what kind of exhaust do you have? If you just have a stock style quiet system on it no one would ever know the diference from a 440 and a 3.9 or what ever a stocker would have. But you know what now you have to take some awesome burnout pics and post 'em. I hope you bust some serious Ford lovin ass out on the streets just don't get caught!!! Have fun!!!
Message: Well currently the suspension is the stock V6 Dakota and so is the exhaust system. I just cut the ends off of the V6 Y-pipe where the V6 manifolds attached and patched in some pipe to adapt the 440 manifolds to it. So basicilly from the joining of the Y-pipe back to the rear bumper is stock V6. I only added a front sway bar from an 87-90 Dakota that had one for the front suspension. The rear I have done nothing. And Yes, It will burn the SH!T out of the rear tires like a dragster at the track. At this time I have a stock V6 Radiator but will have a custom one made to just keep it under 210 degrees. There is no room for a manual fan so you have to run electric fans in front of the radiator. When the weather clears up around here I will post some better pics.
