What is the best way to raise my shift point up to 6000-6500 RPM's? While also still producing power?

Another engine! Not many stock V8's hold up well at 6000-6500 RPM. Even the LS1 will blow at 6500 if pushed too many times. The LS6 would hold up a little better. But the current 5.9L@6500 would throw rods, push rods, valve float while making 100hp.

I wouldn't run them past 5500-5800 at most without stronger internals. You'll need a M1 intake, 210/220 or higher duration cam and a custom PCM. Good Luck.
