Message: i like it. i have one on my 2001 4.7. i have a flange after the muffler, so i can run turned down or out the back. i just put a 4" tip on the pipe that goes out the back. everyone loves the way mine sounds. i think it sounds even better with the 4" tip. it's very, very deep and loud.

Message: if you are gonna run a race muffler you might as well not run any, save you $ but then you have a legality problem...... at least with the race style muffler the cops can't say you don't have one but then again if they want to be pricks they can give you a fine for the exhaust being too loud anyways.

Message: I haven't heard a dak with any single chambers on it but one of my good friends has 2 on his Z71 and even though it still has cats on it, it sounds really good. Even though the motor is stock other than a K&N FIPK it sounds like its been built. I haven't actually heard one on a dodge but I think it would sound good.

Message: I have a 40 series on my 2000 Dakota 4.7L and I love the way it sounds. It rumbles at the lower RPMs and screams when you open it up. The best thing is that I don't get too much noise in the cabin, just enough to know I have a V8 under the hood.

Message: I have one on my 99 Dakota 5.2L. I have 3" pipe from y back through a Car-Sound high flow cat. The pipe exits in the stock location with a 3.5" stainless steel tip. Sounds real nice!
