Ok I installed the Jet module Stage II on my 02 quad cab, 4x4 with the 4.7-automatic.I have the cat back exhaust, 180 T stat, K&N replacement. I drove it for a month, now I removed it and drove it for 40 miles,& Yuck...I have to say there is a Big difference in the way the transmission shifts and is smoother to accelerate faster. Then I reinstalled it and Oh yes I want the Jet installed a big difference, and I am using 89 octane fuel. no probs...Does anyone else have anything to say about the Jet if you use it??Thanx.

Kevster,
Try writing that again so we can understand and answer. I removed my Jet module and 360 air intake and put everything back to stock (exept for the cams) and my truck is much more sluggish.

I have a 2wd 2001 dakota 4door 4.7 liter. I love the jet chip stage one i bought! I am always looking for more performance and this helped a lot. I have a allied cat back exhaust, k&n air filter, and a throttle body spacer. I also use the 89 octane gas as well. I first bought a venom 400 chip, it freakin sucked! The damn thing didn't work! I returned it and the new one didn't work either! I say Jet chip is way better.

I still want to see some kind of dyno sheets for the Jet chip stage I&II on a 4.7L. Noone has ever even found out for sure if they work worth a damn

The chip is great execpt for all out racing.
It provides improvement until WOT.I have one and you can tell the diff.I dont use it any more because it does slow you down in the qrtr mile. but for pulling a trailer or normal highway driving it works great

Definite difference everywhere but WOT.
I have some curves that I got from Yates if anyone wants a copy-they definitely show the lower RPM gains and the drop at WOT. Email me and I'll send them to you.

Sorry men, had a couple beers when I typed the first post, Yes I like the Jet very much... I am glad I purchased it, just not crazy about the 250.00 price, But...It makes a big difference by improving the shifting, the shifting seems more firm , and the truck accelerates better also. I am thinking about purchasing the Airaid Intake for my 4.7 now.. any of you men know of someone who has the Airaid? and do they like it?

Which Airaid do you need..? I have the one that sits on top of the stock air filter box and has the oval shaped filter. I don't use it anymore.

Handi2, it is the one that uses the lwr stock box, and uses the oval type filter for the 4.7 motor, is yours in great cond? if so how much $$ you want for it? I may be interested if the price is right, Thanx. PM me off line. Oh yeah why dont you use it anymore... Thanx..

I got the 360 intakez as a gift. The Airaid was used about 300 miles, highway only. I will take $50.00 less than the new price.
