how can I find out if my 2000 4.7 QC 2 wheel drive
came with a limited slip rear end? I don't see a tag on the rear end cover.

my favorite way to tell is to stop your truck, turn the wheel to the right or left and then roast your tires. if both wheels spin, you have positrac (LSD). Single spin you have open axle. ANOTHER WAY TO TELL is to jack the rear up so both rear wheels are in the air... turn one of the wheels by hand... if the wheels spin in the same direction you have LSD. if other wheel spins opposite direction you have Open end.

Or you can jack the back end up and spin the tire, both should spin the same direction. Out of gear of course.
