Message: Damn! You sound like me man, except it sounds like you'll actually do it! I'm all talk! I keep saying to my bro that we should split the cost of a '97 RC Sport, drop a 426 into it mount a blower onto it, and build the thing up as a prostreet truck, that'd be sweet but I think I'll just focus on my truck for now, lot's of plans for my 4.7... and I don't really have the money to be building a race-only truck... but hey, I can dream!

Message: Notch, hey I'd be glad to donate my parts to you when I'm done with them. But chances are they may need a little TLC once I'm done destro...I mean playing with them. But in all seriousness, my donor truck fell through. Had a 98 regular cab theft recovery (no interior, engine, trans, fenders, hood, or bumpers) lined up, but the insurance comp. said "NO!". Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Message: Well my project is still on...I have already ordered the charger, it should be in the day before Christmas eve.
I'll play with it with just the S/C'er for a while, after a year or so, I'll play with the thought of heads, cam, and intake.
But...If someone were to donate one of the above, I wouldn't hesitate installing it. ;)
I've never been given anything related to performance, but it sure would be nice...

Message: I just wanted to explain my first comments on this post, I'm not against the use of Superchargers, NOS, or Turbo's. It's just i've grown up learning to plan a motor with the thought that any of those three are too expensive to consider them as viable options to beef up your motor. Of course i also have built only Small block chevy motors, this is my first mopar engine build up, so i'm a little behind on this. Just wanted to explain what it was about.

Message: I'm betting that they mounted the turbos that low so that custom manifold wouldn't have to be made (and saves a lot of money & work)...
All that is needed for the oil return is a small pump to return the oil to the pan...
My biggest concern is ground clearance... e.i. - how vulnerable the turbos may be... I'd be a little concerned about driving the truck in wet weather... If he hit a big enough puddle, he might hit a turbo with enough water to cause a crack due to the sudden temperature change... It'd doubtful, but still possible... The other concern would be foreign objects... I'd have spomething to keep things from hitting them (he may have done that, but I've only seen those couple of pics...
This was definitely done on a budget...
As for the 4.7L's, yes, I've got a few turbos picked out... depending on what eh customer plans on doing with the truck... daily driver, race truck, utility(towing), or what ever combo...
Later!

Message: I have two pumps that pump the oil back to the oil pan very easy and simple. The truck is a daily driver. Clearance has not been a problem. It has more clearance than my moms Civic. Im not going off roading so I dont have a problem. Water has not been an issue either. It floods at least twice a year here in Miami due to downpours and tropicall storms and I have yet to have any issues. I tow my boat with truck. The only time it has been trailered was to Vegas for SEMA and to Atlanta for Nopi Nationals. And dont worry I wont dissapear I've just been out of town since I posted the pics. And by the way did I build the whole truck by myself NO! I had help. The owner of SCI-TECH is my friend and between about 4 guys WE put it together.

We share info on this site so others may benefit through our own personal R&D, and learn so others don't make our same mistakes.
