Message: The fuel rail on the 4.7 is shaped like a horse
shoe. The longer the fuel is in the rail the
hotter it gets. Some people even think that it
vaporizes in the rail. Anyway, that equals less
fuel to the injector pulse. Duner, runs a 3/8"
copper tube above the fuel rail and secures it
to the rail with insulation. He then runs a water
pump with antifreeze in it. This tube is coiled
around the air conditioner dryer. So from the
pump the fluid goes to the dryer, gets cooled
down, then goes to the fuel rail, there it sucks
up the heat from the fuel rail and then it
returns to the pump. Another "Crude But
Effective" invention by the mad scientist called
Duner.

Message: So does it actually gain almost 30 ft lbs of torque from doing this? And are there more detailed instructions on how it can be done somewhere I could check out?
Thanks
Chuck

Message: Here's a stupid question, I'm looking at doing this once the winter is over, just wondering what is involved in getting power to the water pump? Stupid question I know...
