Subject: Help... High idle IP: Logged
Message: i tried a search didnt come up with much, but heres the problem. my durango has been in the shop for about a month, after i got in an accident (rear end dmg only and it was all body dmg) i just got it back on friday but in park and neutral its idleing at 1400-1600 rpms thats after it come down from its initial 2000 rpm. and in gear the idle drops to about 1000. before i put it in the shop im pretty sure it ran fine. just trying to figure out whats going on with it. its a 2000 durango 5.2

Message: might wanna try looking at your IAT sensor, if it gets a funky reading(dirty, broken or not plugged in), it can idle in that range, hope this helps.

Message: will it give me a check engine light because i dont have one right now, and i do have an iat adjuster installed.
