I have a 93 dodge dakota v-8. When my truck gets warmed up it still does not send any heat to the cab. I have changed the thermostat as well as flushed the radiator. Anyone have any suggestions. I live in michigan and it's getting pretty darn cold up here.

Follow the heater hoses from the water pump to the firewall. There may be a control valve on one of the lines that you can manually open to let the hot water circulate thru the heater core. This could be a quick fix if Dodge has one you can get to.

If your thermostat is good and your engine is reaching normal opperating temp then you probably have 1 of 2 problems. 1st check to see if your blend air door is functioning properly. Move the hot/cold lever back and forth making sure the door is going through its full range of travel. If you are one of those people who piles crap on their dash, something could have fallen into the heater box and not allowing the door to move or possibly have broken it. Move the lever quickly and the door should make a dull thud indicating its fully opening/closing. Next scenario would be a plugged heater core. Pull both the heater hoses off the core and get a piece of 5/8 heater hose and slip it on one of the heater core tubes. Use your garden hose with the nozzle matted to the end of the piece of heater hose and gently blow through the core switching back and forth until clear water comes out. You will be amazed from all of the crap that comes out of the heater core. Reconnect heater hoses, refill radiator and you should have heat. Your Dakota does not have a water control valve so this won't be a problem.

Can you tell me where the heater blower fan is located ?? The fan quit and I'd like to be able to check the blower motor.
